Each financial year I give a portion of my sales to not-for-profit organisations that work to protect Australian wildlife. From sales of my calendars, greeting cards and this year a few little paintings, I’ve either donated to appeals, or joined in membership, and though it’s not much money in the grand scheme of things, it is heartening to know that my artwork can generate a few extra dollars to help the Aussie wildlife I love to portray and share. There are so many awesome groups, foundations, individuals, societies and organisations that it’s often hard to know who to focus on, and each year I give to a few different places. They all do fantastic work for Australian wildlife either directly through research and rescues or indirectly through habitat protection.
